Direct Messaging LSBot in Slack

We know that asking questions in public channels can sometimes feel intimidating, so you can also choose to chat with LSBot privately—whether you need a quick clarification, debugging help, or just want to dive deeper into concepts free of pressure.

Getting Started

To message with LSBot directly, you need to open a new conversation with LSBot. To do so, you can:

  1. Searching for "LSBot" in the Slack search bar, just as you would a fellow student
  2. Look for LSBot under the “Apps” section in the side navigation bar
  3. or start a new message and select “LSBot” as the recipient

Once you've selected LSBot, simply send your question. You don't need to tag LSBot in direct messages. Just like in public channels, LSBot will respond in a thread, so you can keep the conversation going!
