Our goal isn't to teach you how to use React or Rails, but to show you how to construct accurate mental representations of first principles in order to tackle fundamental engineering problems. It seems much of the programming world is built on abstractions on top of abstractions that makes our jobs easier. But you have to understand the fundamentals first or otherwise those abstractions are not going to make sense.
